Role Summary

We are looking for a future-proof SEO Web Analyst who thrives in a dynamic environment and stays ahead of the curve with emerging technologies. The goal of this role is to provide strategic web reporting, analysis, and support to SEO projects that drive revenue growth and improve product features.

What You’ll Do

  • Utilise various tools to extract and analyze data generated by online user activity.

  • Report findings with clear and easy-to-understand data visualisations and written summaries.

  • Own channel KPI reporting for Product and senior leadership audiences, and SEO team optimization projects and optimisation projects, ensuring they meet team needs.

  • Measure the success of online marketing efforts, particularly search marketing campaigns, by analysing data and communicating recommendations across the organization.

  • Be an expert in customer data, helping to identify and fill data gaps using internal resources and outside vendors.

  • Perform ad hoc analysis on event geography, category, seasonality, and customer behavior to guide/inform SEO strategy SEO strategy.

  • Collaborate with functional teams (Web Product, Data, Marketing) to understand the analysis' impact across the business.

  • Conduct hands-on modeling/advanced analytics, retrieving, compiling, and analysing large data volumes from disparate databases into actionable information for the SEO team to develop and implement search strategy.

  • Demonstrate web analytical and quantitative skills, using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.

  • Leverage an in-depth understanding of our buyer's journey to develop and optimize SEO traffic.

  • Stay up-to-date with the ever-changing search engine algorithms and ranking factors.

  • Utilise analytics and other tools to track web content effectiveness for search engine optimization and user engagement.

  • Building up a reporting toolset and dashboarding to allow stakeholders to ‘self-serve’ wherever possible.

  • Proactively learn and stay updated on the SEO industry, providing insights to the SEO team and helping develop an SEO corporate culture across departments.

What You’ll Need

  • Qualified to degree level, ideally in a field related to digital marketing or data (science/analytics).

  • Familiarity with search data from at least 2-3 years in an online/digital environment where you will have experience maintaining, processing and analysing large data sets.

  • Ability to write and run SQL queries to pull data.

  • Basic scripting skills (e.g. Python) to automate tasks and manipulate data sets.

  • Experience crafting compelling data-driven narratives;  turning complex data into clear, compelling stories that excite and engage non-technical audiences.

  • Expertise in GA4, Google Search Console, SEO Tools (i.e. SEMRUSH, Ahref, Conductor, SEOClarity, Similarweb) rank monitoring, and database tools (i.e MySQL), including leading SEO software tools.

  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint/Google Sheets skills (comfortable analyzing large data sets, creating complex formulas/pivots, and developing models).

  • Exceptional project management skills; able to drive multiple initiatives and rollouts whilst working to tight deadlines.

  • Strong understanding of digital media and e-commerce business models.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • A team player who collaborates well both within the SEO team and with key stakeholders across the business in product, engineering, marketing, and creative fields.

  • Previous SEO data background preferred.
