This role sits within the Resins, Filtration & Media (RFM) Operating Company of Cytiva, part of Danaher’s Biotechnology segment.

The Opportunity

The Vice President, Business Transformation is a critical enterprise leadership role and a deliberate accelerator for future General Manager readiness, providing broad exposure to strategy, operations, financial performance, and cross‑functional leadership at scale.

Operating at the intersection of strategy and delivery, The VP is responsible for driving execution of the organization’s highest strategic and operational priorities This role partners closely with the RFM senior leadership team to  strengthen rigor and speed in the operating company, to drive alignment on expected outcomes, and to orchestrate cross‑functional collaboration in a multi‑billion‑dollar global business. This is a role for a high‑potential leader who can see across the enterprise and ensure disciplined, measurable and high speed execution.

This position reports to the RFM President and is part of RFM leadership team.

In this role, you will:

  • Translate enterprise strategy into clear priorities, operating mechanisms, and action plans.  
  • Act as the execution owner for some high impact, cross functional programs sponsored by the President or leadership team. Proactively identify execution risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks and drive timely resolution and alignment across Operations, Commercial, R&D, Finance, and enabling functions. Ensure clarity of decision rights, accountability, and escalation paths
  • Drive leadership cadence: KPI management, and transformation tracking; prepare agendas for leadership meetings; ensure decisions are documented; track actions and follow through;
  • Deeply understand the business to synthesize complex information into recommendations that support decision making. Prepare briefings, executive narratives, and materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor external industry, technology, and competitive trends that may influence strategic choices.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience across general management, strategy, operations, commercial, and/or finance roles.
  • Prior experience of operating at a General Manager or Business Unit Leader level, with direct accountability for business performance (e.g., P&L ownership, revenue or margin outcomes, and strategic execution).
  • Demonstrated success leading cross‑functional initiatives with measurable business impact.
  • Proven financial acumen including planning, forecasting, KPI management, and business case development.
  • Experience partnering directly with senior executives in high‑stakes environments
  • Track record of enabling an inclusive, high trust environment that strengthens collaboration and accountability.

The annual salary range for this role is $275,000 to $325,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. 

 

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
