About this role:
In this role, you will:
Design, develop, test, and deploy robust software applications that support supply chain functions such as inventory management, order fulfillment, transportation, and warehouse operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and operations experts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Build and maintain APIs and microservices to support integration with internal systems and external partners.
Optimize system performance and scalability to handle large volumes of supply chain data.
Implement automation and monitoring tools to ensure system reliability and reduce manual effort.
Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in supply chain and logistics software
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients' needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of Java experience
3+ years Oracle PL/SQL experience
2 + years of experience with Web Services Development
2+ years of experience with Agile project methodologies
Desired Qualifications:
2+ years Unix or Linux shell scripting
Experience with SaaS, IaaS and PaaS models
Familiar with SaaS identity and security integrations
Engineering experience in enterprise environments
3+ years of financial services experience
Experience with Git version control
Familiarity with DevOps practices such as containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), infrastructure-as-code, and automated build/test pipelines.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Hands‑on experience developing microservices and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and related Spring ecosystem frameworks.
Proficiency deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments, including GCP, AWS, or Azure, with familiarity in cloud-native services, CI/CD pipelines, and container-based deployments.
Ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable backend architectures, leveraging Spring frameworks and modern cloud patterns.
Experience troubleshooting and optimizing Java applications, including performance profiling, logging, and monitoring in distributed cloud environments.
