The Data Analytics Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities:

  • Will be responsible for analysis of requirements, develop and oversee the data mappings
  • Oversee the quality of the implementation to ensure the development is as per the specified design.
  • Collaborate with core technology team, production support and other groups to ensure robust DQ controls are in place and best practices are followed.
  • A broad understanding of the relational  and big data solutions, including business and regulatory drivers, methodologies, processes, products, etc.
  • Triage and assess all DQ issues raised in timely and pro-active fashion.
  • Perform in depth root cause analysis for repetitive, challenging & significant issues.
  • Employs developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope and communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members. Provide training and support to users on data tools and processes.
  • Maximizing technology reuse within Citi through leveraging existing services, frameworks and components and development of new reusable services, frameworks and components where appropriate.
  • Oversees management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, etc
  • Document and maintain detailed user test cases, artifacts and signoff
  • Work closely with business users to execute test plans

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • 10-14+ years of hands-on Business Analysis with experience in large scale Financial Systems.
  • Significant experience in data management, data governance, data quality monitoring and surveillance.
  • Proficiency with typical BI tooling including Tableau, MicroStrategy etc.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and databases (e.g., SQL, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Experience in a team lead or managerial role.
  • Should understand overall control objectives for the JIRA and overall SCRUM management.

Qualifications

  • 10-14+ years of hands-on Business Analysis experience
  • Experience in Agile methodologies as BA/Scrum Master
  • Experienced in collecting, organizing, and tracking requirements
  • Excellent analytical skills, especially pertaining to data analysis.
  • Must thrive in a global fast-paced, intense environment.


Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
