A fantastic opportunity has been made available to join the Wealth Management and Insurance team as a Technical Business Analyst. The existing team is made up of a number of skilful Engineers and Analysts. You’ll support a team of Engineers and look after the requirements/features as a pseudo Product Owner.
As well as supporting the product, you’ll also bring your experience in proposing new, innovative ideas and best practices. You’ll be required to produce high quality outputs, whilst looking after the technical details. You’ll also be motivated to help the team deliver the best products to our customers, participating in architectural decisions, initiatives and working with Engineers and the Business to ensure requirements are delivered promptly to our customers.
The difference you’ll make:
Managing tasks end to end from development to release to production
Analysing and defining clear and concise requirements through working closely with IT and business
Reporting on project progress, identifying risks and potential bottlenecks and recommending appropriate action to mitigate them
Ensuring Software Engineers build agreed solutions, test and implement to highest standards
Working on incidents, Jira tickets and collaborating with the Business to solve any issues being faced by the end-users
What you’ll bring:
These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:
Experience within the Banking domain in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Experience as a Technical Business Analyst
Experience in coordinating cross-functional Business and Technical Teams
Demonstrable and effective management and analytical skills
Highly capable of working towards deadlines, as well as being an efficient multi-tasker
Software engineering background
It would also be nice for you to have:
AWS certification or equivalent
Basic architecture concepts
Experience within the Wealth Management or Insurance Domain

This role is based in Milton Keynes.

To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).
