In this vital role you will lead the Human Resources activities for 5 global organizations within the Corporate Functions (CF) organization at Amgen with oversight spanning support for 4 CEO staff members. This role will have direct accountability for supporting the Law & Corporate Affairs organization led by 1 EVP & 10 VPs made up of ~400+ staff around the globe. This role will have one direct report who has accountability for supporting 3 SVPs and 4 VPs for ~300 staff across Worldwide Compliance & Business Ethics (WC&BE), Business Development & Results Delivery Office (RDO) in addition to Aviation & Security. The direct report will also help provide support as needed for the Director, especially as a key contributor to the Corporate Affairs Technology & Workforce Strategy (TWFS) Initiative. You will join the senior leadership teams of the organizations you support. This role offers an exciting opportunity to have an impact on maximizing the company’s reach to patients worldwide and ensure every patient every time. This position reports to the VP of Human Resources for Corporate Functions and is a member of the Corporate Functions HR Team. This position is suited for a well-established Human Resources Director with a strong track record of driving organizational effectiveness, leadership development, workforce planning and strategy. The role also requires a strong people leader who in partnership with their direct report, works in a network across Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs) supporting other CEO staff members and key business leaders driving our prioritized agenda in close coordination with our worldwide affiliates to deliver HR and business goals.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 4 years of Human Resources experience
Or
Master’s degree and 7 years of Human Resources experience
Or
Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of Human Resources experience

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
