Reporting to the Senior Manager, HRIS, the Senior Analyst, HRIS will be responsible for Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) set up and maintenance, changes, reporting, testing and troubleshooting, process improvements, data integrity, systems security and year-end support. The Senior Analyst, HRIS will audit changes within systems to insure proper controls and recommend and establish new controls. The position will also assist HRIS related projects as needed.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with internal Human Resources customers to analyze HRIS requirements, develops and implements various HRIS procedures, and prepares complex customized reports.
  • Interpreting business requirements into specifications for HRIS application
  • Designs and runs complex queries, resolves queries and ensures accuracy, prepares business documents, and provides upgrades.
  • Designs and maintains codes and tables, prepares reports for Human Resources systems and applications, and investigates and analyzes systems to resolve any complex and large-scale issues.
  • Creates test scenarios and assists project team members in performing tests to ensure all processes work according to predetermined goals.
  • Tests and implements file feeds and interfaces for any add-on technology to our HRIS as needed.
  • Executes and/or monitors all scheduled import/export interfaces and files to third-party vendors.
  • Executes internal processes and performs audits in order to ensure the integrity of all systems and collaborates with functional users to develop all business processes for various human resources systems and provides support to all associated activities.
  • Audits and reviews changes within HRIS to ensure proper controls and separation of duties and assist in establishing new controls, as needed.
  • Aids in coordinating system and security administration for multiple HRIS/payroll-related systems as needed.
  • Develops and conducts a robust training program, end-user support, and assistance to HRIS users.
  • Works with external vendors and other service providers to ensure the efficient, accurate, and timely exchange of information.

Qualifications
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent required.
  • PHR a plus
  • PMP a plus

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the HRIS and project arenas to include a proven ability to improve internal processes, and upgrade current technologies.
  • Knowledge of HRIS, management reporting, and payroll processes within an UltiPro environment is required.
  • Must have demonstrated expertise in HRIS, payroll, and business processes with the ability to take ownership of overall HRIS and process
  • Reporting and business intelligence experience including systems setup and organization as well as ongoing reporting to meet business needs
  • General overall knowledge and experience within Human Resources (e.g. compensation and benefits) with demonstrated ability to apply technical solutions to solve business problems effectively, preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, project management experience, time management skills, excellent attention to detail, ability to maintain confidential information, and ability to work well in a team environment.

  • Knowledge of information technology and compensation best practices

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent spreadsheet, database, and presentation software skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels and operation units of the organization
  • Attention to detail and ability to provide fast turnaround when needed
  • In-depth knowledge of UltiPro and Workday
  • Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence report writing (i.e. report studio, query studio, dashboards, event studio, bursting)
  • Working knowledge of HR practices, benefits, and retirement programs, preferred 


Language / Communication Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills  - correspondence to internal and external customers
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals possessing varying degrees of technical and functional knowledge

Travel %:  Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
