Job Summary:

In this position, you will be a member of the Finance team responsible with deliverables associated with intercompany transactions and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as “Corporate hub’ for intercompany accounting, managing intercompany transactions, policies and communication and company-wide reconciliation of intercompany account activity

  • Posts Intercompany journal entries on both sides for cross-company enabled locations and to one location if not cross-company enabled

  • Works with appropriate accounting contact persons for intercompany transactions

  • Invoices and collects receivables to/from entities which are not settled automatically in Workday

  • Monitors pending Intercompany requests (either sending or receiving) and provides status updates to parties who will need to action such requests

  • Prepares accruals for recurring transactions

  • Ensures timely expense recognition (on both sides) for year-end Intercompany related accruals

  • Works with Legal department to ensure any new agreements are properly implemented

  • Assist with invoice/settlement processing between companies including for technology and payroll processes

  • Responsible for the timely and accurate design, review, posting and reconciliation of month end close specifically for the reporting of intercompany relationships

  • Develop, document, implement and manage accounting processes, controls and systems to ensure appropriate level of internal control

  • Ownership of month end reporting (receivables/payables) and improvements where required, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bacherlor's Degree

  • 5+ years experience in accounting, including accounting for intercompany transactions

  • Experience with general ledger and financial reporting systems

  • Excellent communication and project management skills

  • Knowledge of Workday preferred

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline and results oriented environment

  • Highly organized and detail oriented
