Job Description Summary

At GE Vernova, we are driving an enterprise-wide transformation to reimagine how our industrial business operates by embedding an AI-first approach across all enterprise processes. As the People Leader for Product Management for Quality and EHS domain, you will provide critical people and technical leadership at the intersection of business strategy, technology delivery, and change management. In this role, you will help ensure the seamless, timely, and high-quality deployment of process introduction and enhancements leveraging latest capabilities to strengthen adoption, improving productivity, enhance customer experience and enable business operations.

The Director – Technical Product Management for Quality and EHS Initiatives is responsible for the delivery of highly complex cross disciplined programs that span multiple business lines, business stakeholders from multiple functions, various other stakeholders which could be within GE Vernova, customer production support and operations, as well as partners. In this role, you will partner directly with Engineering, Quality and EHS functional counterparts to set goals & objectives on business outcomes, application roadmap and supporting critical design decisions, as well as deployment, operation/support and continuous improvement priorities on platforms including but not limited to PowerNow/ServiceNow.

Job Description

PowerNow is a ServiceNow SaaS platform and one of the top 20 critical applications used across GEV. Built on top of our existing data and systems, it enables employees to orchestrate and automate enterprise tasks through configurable low-code tools.

 

As the Director leading Product management team for Quality and EHS, you will be responsible to own, support and drive wing-wing DT strategy for Quality and EHS within Power business. You will provide strategic and operational leadership to deliver Power Quality & EHS roadmap, priorities and solutions. You will be partnering with Engineering, Quality and EHS process teams to co-own the process & digital tools together and propose digital solutions to support Quality, Safety and Lean transformation within Power organization.

 

This is a business-critical, highly visible leadership role that requires deep expertise in process optimization, product management, application deployment, and operationalization of automation and productivity tools.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role you will:

 

·       Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and goals for transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives for Quality and EHS domains.

·       Own the Quality and EHS product roadmap, including prioritization of initiatives, solution delivery, and value realization.

·       Provide strategic leadership to a team of Product Managers supporting transformation projects, platforms, and digital tools.

·       Coach and enable TPMs/Product Managers to lead with influence, foster a product-centric mindset, and support their professional growth.

·       Partner with Engineering, Quality, EHS, and Lean process teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and digital enablement.

·       Drive stakeholder alignment and executive communication by identifying key stakeholders, facilitating workshops, and ensuring consensus on project goals, challenges, progress, risks, dependencies, and benefits.

·       Embed product thinking and outcome-driven execution, ensuring teams focus on delivering measurable business value.

·       Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from opportunity identification and business case development through deployment, adoption, and sustainment.

·       Lead risk management activities, including identifying potential project risks and ensuring mitigation strategies are in place.

·       Enable strategic prioritization by making data-driven decisions and adapting plans as needed to achieve transformation outcomes.

·       Act as a conduit between business and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable plans and ensuring clear communication throughout the project.

·       Develop and mentor the product management team, building capability in product thinking, delivery discipline, and business partnership.

·       Support change management and user adoption to ensure effective implementation and long-term usage of digital solutions.

·       Ensure governance, prioritization, and resource planning across the portfolio of Quality and EHS transformation initiatives.

 

Mandatory Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

·       A minimum of 12 years of professional experience with at least 3 years of technical product management experience implementing solutions in large enterprise systems

·       Extensive hands-on experience with process optimization, data and analytics and enterprise instance ownership
