What this opportunity involves:

We are seeking a Leasing Executive to join us. Reporting to the National Leasing Manager, you will be providing comprehensive transaction management for one of our client’s well-esteemed national portfolios. This opportunity offers end-to-end lease negotiation responsibilities while building key stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

This position will be based on client’s site in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane CBD.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lease Negotiations: Handle retail, commercial and office lease renewals and options, achieving rental terms that align with client objectives
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market-based rent reviews and retail/commercial market assessments with an individualized approach to maximize outcomes
  • Database Management: Maintain leasing spreadsheets and databases with excellent planning and organizational skills to meet critical dates
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on lease renewals, closures, market rent reviews and options
  • Property Management: Handle general property matters including determination of repair, maintenance and replacement responsibilities
  • Cost Optimization: Review and drive cost optimization initiatives and manage property closures when required
  • System Administration: Ensure all new lease transaction details are provided to Lease Administration for system updates
  • Advisory Services: Provide expert advice to clients while maintaining exceptional service standards

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Property/Real Estate or equivalent
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in lease or transactional leasing with proven results, ideally in Retail and/or Commercial  
  • Current State Real Estate License
  • Knowledge of Retail Leases Acts across various states will be an added advantage
  • Strong negotiation abilities and understanding of property finance
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
  • Demonstrated experience in driving exceptional client service and teamwork
