The opportunity 

As Project Management Application Manager you will be responsible for maximizing the business value realization for the applications of the Project Management function by implementing the given priorities in the best way in alignment with the head of Project Management. 

How you´ll make an impact 

• Ensure that the application(s) have a proper strategic positioning in alignment with Project Management function and in alignment with the IT Enterprise Architecture ​ 

• Be the single point of contact for the Project Management function in relation to the applications to support their business 

• Ensure service delivery, in particular case resolution (incidents, requests) management. It includes ensuring a proper support agreement and that a Service Management system is in place and aligned with Hitachi Energy standards.​ 

• Ensure technical documentation availability and accuracy for the application(s) in scope​ 

• Manage contract with external vendors​ 

• Continuously monitor industry trends and emerging threats to improve the effectiveness of the Vulnerability Monitoring Service and ensure compliance with global cybersecurity standards and regulations​ 

• Perform activities required by Internal Controls (of particular importance in case the application is ICoFR relevant)​ 

• Ensure of fulfilling local applicable security requirements​ 

Your background 

• 5-7 years of relevant working experience 

• Experience in one or more coding languages (e.g. Javascript, C++, Python, Java) and with development platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Salesforce).  

• Understanding of software development lifecycles​ 

• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing 

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills​ 

• Fluency in English, both oral and written.
