We are looking for a new Parts Technical Specialist to join our team! This person will provide quality, real-time internal and external customer technical parts support. Participate in overall company customer service efforts, specifically by assisting dealer personnel to correctly identify replacement parts needed for proper field maintenance and repairs of Linde, STILL and Baoli equipment. Provide additional support to parts sales, technical assistance and marketing efforts

What you will do in this role:

  • Respond via telephone and written communications with urgency, courtesy and professionalism to customer requests for service parts technical assistance

  • Utilize computer databases and paper manuals to correctly identify required parts, and supply  part numbers, drawings and/or bills of material to dealer personnel

  • Provide on-going informal training to dealer personnel on how to use/interpret technical information and systems

  • Effectively communicate with internal counterparts regarding truck service requirements, parts availability, etc.

  • Other duties as assigned to support customer service efforts.  Examples may include developing recommended spare parts lists for new product introductions, assisting with developing and presenting training materials, assisting in the development of various product marketing campaigns, initiating outgoing telephone calls to dealers to improve communication, etc.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What We are Looking For:

  • 3+ years’ experience in parts support in material handling equipment or related industry
  • Associate’s degree strongly preferred (suggested coursework includes customer service, engineering technology, industrial technology, etc.)
  • Excellent customer service communication skills (oral and written, telephone/email/in person)
  • Ability to read technical parts and service manuals, particularly for Linde, STILL and Baoli equipment
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information via telephone, email and internet tools
  • Demonstrated computer skills, including use of email & Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Experience using an ERP system (SAP and Salesforce preferred)
  • Second language Spanish a plus
