Job Description

Are you a dynamic and enthusiastic leader with a passion for optimizing IT landscapes? Fugro is looking for a highly skilled Program Manager to spearhead our Application Rationalization Programme at our headquarters in Leidschendam. This exciting role involves leading the program and ensuring delivery of complex rationalization projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing redundancy across various functions, such as Finance, Procurement, and Asset Management.  

As the Program Manager, you will lead and manage the Application Rationalization Programme, ensuring alignment with Fugro’s policies and standards. You will oversee the execution of projects to streamline IT applications, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and effectively balancing cost, time, benefits, and risks.  

In this role you will report to the Global Manager Application Services. You will collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external contacts. Internally, you will work closely with the Regional Heads of IT, Financial Controllers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Information Security and various specialized teams to ensure comprehensive program delivery and compliance. Externally, you will engage with supplier representatives, consultants, project resources and auditors to facilitate the successful execution of the program. These relationships are crucial for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the program, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the process.  

In this role, you will drive significant improvements in Fugro's IT landscape, ensuring efficiency and alignment with Fugro’s goals by focusing on:   

 

Program Management

  • You develop and manage the comprehensive program plan, including project plans with milestones, deadlines, and resource allocation.; 

  • You oversee the program organization and governance to ensure structured execution.  

  • You ensure timely delivery of the program within scope and budget; 

  • You prepare continuous status reports and conduct post-project evaluations to assess performance and perform quality control and risk management throughout the program lifecycle 

Team Leadership

  • You lead a cross-functional and multi-disciplinary team, including project managers, architects, business analysts, product owners, Business Process Owners, and Functional Heads; 

  • You foster collaboration and effective communication within the team and with stakeholders and provide guidance and support to team members to achieve project deliverables.  

Stakeholder Engagement

  • You collaborate with internal stakeholders including Regional Heads of IT, Heads of Functions, vendors, and global IT resources; 

  • You ensure active stakeholder engagement throughout the deployment process; 

  • You work with the Change and Communication team to manage stakeholder expectations effectively.  

Process Improvement

  • You recommend and implement process improvements in IT program management; 

  • You refine and improve the Global Project Delivery Framework in collaboration with the PMO.  

Information Security

  • You collaborate with Internal Audit and Information Security to address IT-related risks; 

  • You ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.  

 

Your track record 

  • You have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field; 

  • You have at least 7 of relevant experience, ideally in an international project-based company or top-tier IT consultancy; 

  • You have proven project management and leadership skills; 

  • As a plus, you have relevant certifications such as Prince2 or PMP; 

  • You have excellent communication and English language skills, both written and oral;
