Summary: A SCCM Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) environments to ensure optimal performance and compliance across the organization. You will work closely with IT teams to support software deployment, system updates, and endpoint management solutions. Key Responsibilities: • SCCM Management: Configure, manage, and monitor SCCM environments, ensuring high availability and reliability of the system. • Software Deployment: Design and implement software distribution strategies, including application packaging and deployment through SCCM. • Patch Management: Manage the deployment of Windows updates and third-party patches, ensuring systems are up to date and secure. • Monitoring & Reporting: Create and maintain dashboards and reports for system performance, software deployment status, and compliance metrics. • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve SCCM-related issues and provide support for end-user problems related to software deployment and configuration. • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for SCCM processes, configurations, and best practices. • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to integrate SCCM with other systems and services, ensuring smooth operations and support for end-user needs. • Security Compliance: Implement security measures and best practices to protect endpoint configurations and ensure compliance with organizational policies. Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in SCCM administration or related roles. • Technical Skills: o Proficiency in SCCM 2012/Current Branch and related tools. o Experience with Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting. o Knowledge of ITIL best practices and change management processes. • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills: • Certification in Microsoft SCCM or related Microsoft technologies. • Experience with cloud technologies, such as Microsoft Intune, Tanium.
