We have an opening for a highly motivated Software Engineer to join the Fidelity Institutional Business Enablement Technology (FIBET) team. You will be part of a team that works on both client and server-side technologies, and you will have the opportunity to grow and develop expertly within the Fidelity organization. 

The Expertise and Skills You Have

  • A degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related subject area. 

  • Proven experience developing business logic through Java and mid-tier services 

  • Strong Communication Skills (oral and written)

  • Focus on customer: Demonstrate understanding of customer’s business domain 

  • Continuously improve technical proficiency: Demonstrate knowledge and application of current technologies

  • Collaborative in approach, actively contributing to how work gets completed 

  • Participate in all facets of the delivery process

This role is part of the FIBET group within FI. FI provides investment management services through investment professionals at financial institutions nationwide, including wire houses, regional and independent broker/dealers, banks, trust companies and insurance companies.
