What You’ll Get to Do:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to support Special Operations Forces (SOF) by developing fiscal plans, managing budgetary processes, and driving the development of emerging capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial management, budgeting, and the intricacies of the DoD and SOF environments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute budget plans in support of capability development and operational activities.
  • Monitor and analyze budget obligations, expenditures, and reimbursements.
  • Prepare financial reports and identify discrepancies in budget execution.
  • Perform disbursing operations for SOF.
  • Review and process financial documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Reconcile accounts and identify corrective actions.
  • Audit financial documents for completeness and accuracy.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of budget formulation, execution, and financial management principles.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Understanding of DoD, USSOCOM, and GCC policies and procedures.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Active Top Secret (TS) with Secret Compartmentalized Information (SCI) eligibility and with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
  • This position requires a strong understanding of financial management principles and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with financial systems and software.
  • Knowledge of SOF operations and requirements.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$70,900 - $148,900
