Job Description:
Implementation, support and maintenance of applications assigned
Responsible for system analysis, system design, application development, report generation, amendment and enhancement for applications assigned
Ensure amended and enhanced systems meet user functional requirement specifications.
Ensure that all documentation, processes and methodologies used in the various phases of system development and implementation are in accordance with the Bank’s standards.
Ensure proper documentation of all development to facilitate future maintenance and enhancements. Employs the risk assessment methodology issued by the Information Security Department to ensure proper controls are build as required by the business
Builds appropriate controls into business application software to ensure the stability, security and reliability. Analyze changes & impact on existing systems
Technical Requirements (Must-Haves)
Ionic Expertise: Strong proficiency in the Ionic Framework (specifically v5+) and its component lifecycle.
Capacitor: Hands-on experience migrating Cordova plugins to Capacitor or building apps from scratch using Capacitor for native bridge functionality.
Core Web Tech: Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and SCSS/CSS3.
State Management: Proficiency with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, NgRx, or Context API depending on the framework used).
API Integration: Experience consuming RESTful APIs and handling JSON data.
Version Control: Proficient with Git and workflows like Gitflow.
Good-to-Have Skills (Preferred)
React Ecosystem: Strong understanding of React.js concepts (Hooks, Functional Components).
React Native: Experience building or maintaining apps in React Native (to assist with potential migrations or cross-stack support).
Native Development: Basic knowledge of native mobile development (Swift/Objective-C for iOS, Java/Kotlin for Android) to troubleshoot native layer issues.
CI/CD: Familiarity with Appflow, Bitrise, or Jenkins for automated builds and deployment.
Testing: Experience with unit testing frameworks (Jest, Jasmine) or end-to-end testing (Cypress, Appium).
