Field-Based Fire Extinguisher Engineer – Scotland East

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm Location: Field-based role covering Scotland, ideally our new hire is based in the East.

We are seeking a skilled Fire Extinguisher Service Engineer to join our team in a field-based position across Scotland. What You will Be Doing

  • Service and maintain portable fire extinguishers.
  • Participate in the call-out rota when required.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and clear communication.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and resolve faults efficiently.
  • Follow quality procedures and complete service documentation accurately.
  • Travel to customer sites across Scotland and occasionally into England.

What We are Looking For

  • BAFE Registered
  • Full UK driving licence (essential for travel requirements)
  • Proven experience in the fire protection industry, specifically extinguisher servicing and maintenance
  • Confident using hand tools and working independently.
  • Effective communication skills with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively as part of a team.
