Marsh McLennan Global Services India Private Limited (MMGS) is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Mumbai office for their Data Analytics & Insights teams. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

SPECIALIST – DATA ANALYTICS & INSIGHT

We will count on you to:

• Develop a strong understanding of the insurance broking business, systems in force and practice(s) that you are responsible for
• Complete the tasks assigned with a high level of quality and within allocated time
• Communicate progress to supervisors and highlight any escalations, on a timely basis
• Support supervisors(s) in knowledge codification and transfer through effective documentation
• Share best practice knowledge with team members
• Partner with managers to improve efficiency and quality
• Follow up with managers/brokers/ practice data experts in case of ambiguities / questions

What you need to have: 

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• At least 12 months’ experience in data capture in the financial services space
• High degree of comfort in capturing data from both structured (systems/files/tables etc.) and unstructured (documents) data sources on an everyday basis
• Attention to detail and holding yourself to high standards of accuracy and timeliness
• Intermediate Excel skills- proficient in using Excel formulae, pivot tables, selecting and creating charts in Excel
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
