Job Purpose:

Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble. 
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts
• Examines form and texture or parts to detect imperfections.
• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Repairs or replace defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. 
• Lubricates and cleans parts.  
• Starts devices to test perform

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Minimum 2 years of related experience
• Strong customer service and telephone communication skills.
• Upbeat and friendly personality.
• Ability to write correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to operate various office machines and computers. o Bi-lingual preferred, but not required (ability to speak Spanish).
• Proficient in computer applications and software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Candidates should have their own tools.
• Pay rate is $40.33/hr.
