Job Description Summary:

The Senior Director II, Customer Marketing, is the Chief Marketing Officer for the East Region and a transformative marketing executive serving as the face of Coca-Cola marketing to our largest and most strategic customers. This elevated customer-facing role not only leads and inspires a high-performing team but is deeply entrenched in the customer landscape, driving marketing strategy that delivers measurable impact and industry leadership. As a member of the East Region Leadership Team, this executive partners closely with sales, commercial, and area marketing to craft and execute a unified vision that strengthens customer relationships and business growth.

What You’ll Do for Us:

Strategic Leadership & CMO Influence

  • Act as the principal marketing executive for the East Region, guiding the strategic marketing direction, brand presence, and commercial agenda for Coca-Cola across all customer channels.

  • Serve as the senior-most face of Coca-Cola marketing to customers, especially at the C-suite level, cultivating strategic partnerships, influencing joint business planning, and driving marketing negotiations at the highest levels.

  • Provide visionary leadership and subject matter expertise on emerging marketing trends, digital transformation, and next-generation consumer engagement across the system.

Customer Engagement & Account Impact

  • Deeply engage with the region’s largest customers, leveraging marketing acumen, insights, and influencing skills to shape mutually beneficial strategies.

  • Negotiate marketing investment and partnership models at the senior executive level, maximizing Coca-Cola’s presence, efficiency, and ROI in customer marketing initiatives.

People Leadership & Team Development

  • Develop, inspire, and advance a diverse high-performance marketing organization. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.

  • Mentor future marketing leaders, ensuring the team remains best-in-class in digital fluency, customer experience, and modern marketing approaches.

Marketing Innovation & Execution

  • Lead the creation and execution of forward-thinking marketing programs, incorporating digital, omnichannel, and experiential strategies.

  • Champion the adoption of new technologies, tools, and analytics that drive customer loyalty, brand love, and sales lift.

System Knowledge & Influence

  • Collaborate cross-functionally within the Coke system—working with area marketing, bottlers, and commercial leaders to ensure alignment, scalability, and excellence in all initiatives for the East Region.

  • Represent Coca-Cola marketing in industry forums and key customer events, cementing the brand’s thought leadership and strategic intent.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, ideally within foodservice, beverage, or related industries.

  • Proven track record of influencing C-suite stakeholders and senior customers.

  • Expertise in digital marketing, brand strategy, and customer marketing.

  • Demonstrated success in building, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams.

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

What Success Looks Like

  • Coca-Cola is regarded as the marketing partner of choice by key strategic customers.

  • The region consistently exceeds marketing-driven revenue goals and customer loyalty metrics.

  • The team is empowered, engaged, and future-ready, embodying best-in-class marketing and digital expertise.

This is an executive-level opportunity for a dynamic marketing leader to set vision, create impact, and elevate Coca-Cola’s brand and customer partnerships across the East Region.
