Role summary:

The Senior Analyst, Specialty Compliance & Ethics – Product Recalls and Removals supports the company’s product recall and removal program by conducting product research, executing recall and removal actions, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies associated with product recalls and removals. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, resourceful compliance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about operational excellence and customer safety.
About the team:

The Specialty Compliance and Ethics team plays a vital role in supporting Walmart’s product recall and removal initiatives by conducting thorough research, executing recall actions, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. The team collaborates closely with leadership and business partners to monitor compliance risks, develop policies, and implement strategies that uphold ethical standards. Focused on continuous improvement, the team provides expert guidance, analyzes compliance data, and supports effective communication across the organization to maintain high standards of governance and compliance management.
What you'll do:

  • Conduct research on products subject to identify items in catalog across all business units that may be impacted by a recall or removal, including reviewing product specifications, regulatory requirements, and jurisdictional requirements.

  • Support the end-to-end execution of product recalls and removals for non-food products, from initiation through closure. 

  • Ensure all recall, removal, and jurisdictional limitation activities are compliant with federal, state, and local regulations and internal standards.


What you'll bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in product safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, risk management, or related roles.

  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • High attention to detail, initiative, and deadline-driven productivity.

  • Experience with data analysis, compliance software, and process improvement methodologies is a plus.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
