What you will be doing 

This position will work closely with client to resolve product enquiries for Trade Surveillance tool. Resource will manage client tickets, application monitoring for stability checks and will also be responsible to automate the recurring manual activities. Resource should have good communication skills and should be able to work in collaboration with multiple teams across geographies.

 What you bring: 

Knowledge / Experience

  • Extensive experience of software/service solutions delivered on a hosted environment
  • Experience on Technical/L2 Support
  • Extensive experience on supporting back office or order management system application
  • Competent in best practice principals of Client Communication and Support
  • Knowledge of the financial services marketplace
  • Exposure/Supporting web based application

Skills

  • Extensive experience in client facing role 
  • Hands on experience on Trade Surveillance (Good to Have)
  • Manage client escalation and handle the SEV1 communications with clients
  • Manage client relationship to act as CSM

ETL

  • Exposure/Supporting ETL application
  • Should know the basics of ETL and should be able to debug the code
  • Hands on experience on UNIX/LINUX commands to review the logs
  • Hands on experience on debugging/tracing logs
  • Knowledge/understanding of FIX Protocol

SQL

  • Should be able write sql queries with all types of join and group by
  • Should be comfortable using SQL built in functions
  • Should be able to debug complex sql scripts, procedures, views and functions.
  • Should be comfortable with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio

Scripting

  • Hands on experience on one of the scripting language (Perl/Shell/Python)

Version Control

  • Comfortable with GIT

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent

Competencies

  • Provides in-depth product support to FIS clients by resolving incoming inquiries.
  • Responds to customer product inquiries via telephone or in written internet-based email or chat sessions.
  • Resolves customer concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or compatibility matters.
  • Troubleshoots problems with malfunctioning software applications and recommends corrective action.
  • Document’s customer information and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development.
  • Recreates client issues in test environment, Identifies/documents how applications and systems interact to support business processes.
  • Resolves client concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or compatibility matters.
  • Interpersonal skills and technical product knowledge and expertise are critical to responding to daily Client-centric activities.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.
