The Role:
 

The Associate Manager in Partnership Management is a member of the Distribution team focused on supporting key distribution partnerships on business initiatives that achieve company goals, support partnership alignment and meet objectives to optimize the WBD portfolio.

As an integral member of the Partnership Management team, this individual will work with both internal and external stakeholders to support account strategy and execution on a variety of partner priorities and initiatives for Max, Discovery+, Cinemax, and WBD’s suite of linear networks.  This individual will also be expected to develop a solid understanding of any assigned Partner’s business strategy, track industry trends and build solid expertise on functional areas of focus.

A successful candidate will be a self-starter, who is curious, proactive with new ideas, flexible, resilient, and highly collaborative.
 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Distribution team responsible for managing MVPD Partners - Comcast, Charter and Cox on development and execution of business plans and key deliverables.
  • Work with team leaders to support development of annual account plans that focus on achieving account objectives and KPIs.
  • Supports day-to-day activity for assigned partners across a variety of projects, partner activities and initiatives.  Interface with relevant partner contacts across marketing, sales, pr oduct and other distributor related touchpoints.
  • In partnership with WBD Linear Marketing team and team leaders, develop campaign plans, build sell-in and recap decks and manage projects through execution for key partners.
  • Track linear content priorities and present monthly programming highlights to partners to secure promotional placements for increased engagement and viewership of linear networks.
  • Provide end-to-end support of Local Ad Sales requests, tracking partner needs for assets and creative deliverables.
  • Work closely with Streaming and POS Strategy teams to support the partner’s marketing and sales initiatives and ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize trackers to monitor account performance and influence strategy.
  • Support meeting planning and presentation creation for internal/external meetings, account presentations and business reviews.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years business experience; preferably in the media industry.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel. Microsoft Teams a plus.
  • Strong relationship building, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic and creative problem solver with ability to use data to guide decision-making.
  • Keen attention-to-detail with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships at all levels – both internally and externally.
  • Desire to positively influence corporate culture and align with WBD Guiding Principles.
  • Flexible and resilient in a fast-paced and continually evolving industry.
  • General understanding of media landscape, competitive environment, and emerging consumption trends.
  • Content marketing experience with a passion for WBD’s Intellectual Property is a plus.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $77,245.00 - $143,455.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
