We have an exciting Receptionist / Office Support position available to assist with the coordination and support of the 120 employees that will call the newly renovated Brisbane Group Office (BGO) their ‘home base’. Reporting to the Executive Assistant and Office Manager, you will be the first point of contact for all employees and site visitors. Your friendly and approachable personality whether it is answering calls or greeting visitors and staff will be representing St Vincent’s brand through the first impressions you provide those who connect with our office.

You will be working closely with the EA/Office Manager to ensure the office runs smoothly day-to-day and everyone who enters BGO feels welcomed, valued and safe. This role will be varied where no two days would be the same and using your initiative and being proactive would keep you ahead of the game. This position is available on a 6-month Fixed Term Full Time contract initially, with review for extension.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Greet and welcome all visitors and employees alike, providing guidance and information

  • Answer and triage incoming calls, taking detailed and accurate messages as required

  • Receive and sign deliveries, handle incoming and outgoing mail, and organising couriers to collect items

  • Keep reception and the general office space clean, tidy and safe for all employees and visitors; including catering in meeting rooms, unpacking the dishwasher and other general cleaning as required

  • Provide administrative support and any ad-hoc duties as requested by your manager to support the ongoing success of a ‘On St Vincent’s’ Brisbane Office.

Things that work for us:

  • Confident, friendly and professional manner, both in person and over the phone

  • Proactive and reliable, with a great work ethic

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with visitors and employees at all levels

  • Ability to guide and support on multiple priorities simultaneously and seamlessly while maintaining attention to detail

  • National Criminal History Check completed within the last six (6) months

Things that work for you:

  • Ability to visibly see your impact on the business and its service

  • Great entry-level role to help establish you as a receptionist in a leading health and aged care organisation

  • Competitive salary packaging options

  • Discounted private health insurance

  • Employee Assistance Program for staff and their families

  • Access to the Fitness Passport (FP)
