Shift Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7:00AM - 5:30PM

Job Overview  

The Shipping Clerk / Driver supports distribution operations by ensuring materials are accurately handled, safely moved, properly documented, and shipped on time. This role works closely with receiving, production, and warehouse teams to maintain inventory accuracy, support order fulfillment, and ensure customer and business commitments are met. 

You will be responsible for executing daily shipping and material movement activities, operating equipment safely, maintaining accurate records, and supporting overall warehouse flow. 

Let’s talk about your responsibilities: 

  • Accurately identify, move, and ship materials in accordance with standard operating procedures 

  • Safely operate material handling equipment to transport materials and finished goods 

  • Load and unload trucks and containers while maintaining safety and product integrity 

  • Prepare, stage, and verify customer orders for shipment 

  • Ensure shipping documentation and system transactions are accurate and complete 

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS and RF/handheld scanning devices 

  • Open boxes and containers, label materials, and mark items with identifying information as required 

  • Support order fulfillment activities to meet productivity and service expectations 

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area 

  • Adhere to all safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards 

  • Report damages, discrepancies, or safety concerns immediately 

  • Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned 

Let’s talk about you  

To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or relevant experience, along with the ability to consistently perform work safely and accurately. 

Experience and Skills: 

  • Experience loading and unloading trucks and containers 

  • Experience operating material handling equipment, including Raymond branded lifts or similar equipment 

  • Ability to work in narrow aisle environments and elevated locations as required 

  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF/handheld scanners 

  • Experience supporting order fulfillment operations 

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions 

You’ll also need to be able to:  

  • Be flexible to work varying schedules, including 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday and overtime as needed 

  • Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach throughout assigned shifts 

  • Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment to move materials 

  • Work safely in a warehouse environment with moderate to high noise levels
