THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the ANZ Separation Lead, you’ll join our ANZ Separation Program for DePuy Synthes as a Commercial Project Manager with focus on managing many different elements of this high profile global separation program involving 12+ workstreams and 100+ stakeholders across ANZ, APAC and Global. You’ll lead number of transition priorities for the separated and remaining entities including Organisational Change Management and operationalisation of separated people, process and technology —building customer, employee and vendor confidence as DePuy Synthes moves to become the world’s largest orthopedics company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Change Management

  • Conduct detailed change impact assessment with local, regional and global teams to establish a clear view of separation changes for customers, employees and vendors
  • Develop and execute a globally aligned change and communication plan
  • Partner with global, regional and local teams to develop and deliver user-centric communications and guides for customers, employees and vendors
  • Setup and manage employee engagement activities, incorporating key messages and agendas from global, regional and local stakeholders
  • Setup and manage ANZ change champions to support transition activities
  • Work closely with ANZ, APAC and global stakeholders to manage separation readiness of customers, employees and vendors, with defined measures throughout the transition
  • Serve as a Change and Communications subject matter expert to regularly brief stakeholders on different aspects of assigned priorities

Project Management

  • Partner with ANZ leaders to operationalise a standalone operating model (people, process and technology) through a phased approach
  • Define and track project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on overall integrated delivery plan
  • Track program performance against KPIs and provide clear, timely updates and insights to senior leaders.
  • Anticipate risks early, implement mitigation plans and remove roadblocks quickly to protect delivery.
  • Contribute to fit-for-purpose governance, ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations, and drive change management to enable successful adoption.
  • Serve as a transformation and transition subject matter expert to regularly brief stakeholders on different aspects of assigned priorities

Stakeholder Management

  • Deliver with influence—align expectations and maintain engagement with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Continually update relevant stakeholders of project status and contribute to regular management reporting and discussions
  • Knowledge share and support other regions with their transition activities
  • Build, lead, and coach multiple project teams throughout project lifecycles
  • Lead through influence to energise cross‑functional teams, strengthening collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.

ABOUT YOU

Required:

  • 5+ years’ experience leading change, training and communications for enterprise level transformation programs
  • 3+ years’ experience managing project delivery for enterprise level transformation programs
  • Experience partnering with global and regional teams in global organisations highly desirable
  • Experience with MedTech, Health, Supply Chain industries highly desirable
  • Experience working in comparable transformation programs highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of project and change management methodologies (e.g. PMP, Agile, Prosci) preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with employee communication experience highly desirable
  • Experience organising and managing employee engagement activities and events highly desirable
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure
  • Collaborative, team-first approach with a pragmatic delivery mindset
  • Resilient and agile—comfortable adapting to changing priorities

Desirable:

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification
  • Change Management certification (PROSCI/ADKAR or equivalent)

Johnson & Johnson has announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company. The planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to satisfaction of legal and regulatory requirements, and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of the standalone orthopaedics company and your employment would be governed by the standalone orthopaedics company’s employment processes, programs, policies and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by the standalone orthopaedics company at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.
