As a Senior Solutions Engineer - level IV Full Stack Developer you’ll lead, build, maintain, and refine high-performance, scalable systems through your collaboration in development, infrastructure, and product discussions from conception to completion. You have recommendations on how to imagine, develop and launch solutions with transformative power.

As part of the Retirement Plan Services IT team, you’ll help with product management, full stack development and delivery for various initiatives and solutions. You will work with application teams, architecture, product owners, business stakeholders, and testing partners to define solutions, solve issues and drive initiatives forward.  We’re looking for individuals with a nimble and growth mindset, who’ll play the role of end-to-end solution owner collaborating with various IT and business partners to implement capabilities and features based on the product vision and roadmap.

  • You have at least 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong foundation of DevSecOps experience.

  • You have software engineering experience as a full stack developer with backend development using Python and Java and front-end development using ReactJS, HTML/CSS in AWS cloud environment.

  • You have extensive experience in building and managing Kubernetes (EKS), API Gateway, NLB, ALB, and Lambda in AWS.

  • You have strong experience in building and deploying CI/CD AWS code pipeline to deploy microservices in AWS.

  • You have experience enabling various AWS services using infrastructure as a code (IaC) with Terraform and Python.

  • Your expertise includes developing AWS service APIs, AWS CLI, and SDKs with programming language Python or NodeJS.

  • You have experience with rest frameworks such as Flask, Spring, or REST/FAST API.

  • You have extensive experience with SQL and NOSQL databases. Aurora Postgres and DynamoDB preferred.

  • You have strong leadership and mentoring abilities; you lead through influence and not through direction. 

  • You’re thoughtful in your approach to software engineering practices. You enable a future-ready, high-quality, and responsive code base. 

  • Your agile mindset and passion for designing product user experiences enable rapid business growth. 

  • You have a foundation of technical ability, business acumen, leadership skills, and a desire to provide knowledge transfer.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $148,045-$236,872

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
