Oracle Database and RAC testing on OCP-V and creating reference architecture
Work closely with the Red Hat virtualisation engineering team and other stakeholders to create and maintain Red Hat solutions for running Oracle in virtualised environments
Additionally work on Ansible automation roles for Oracle deployments
Contribute to the global Red Hat knowledge management system
Work with Red Hat support engineers to solve highly complex and critical issues
Support Proof of Concepts
Experience with Oracle database and preferred with Oracle RAC as well
Hands-on experience with storage and networking, and virtualization
Ability to work Hybrid in Raleigh, NC
Experience with software development
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to collaborate in a global team environment, proactively engage subject matter experts, and follow through on commitments
Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
Lead capabilities for small teams
Hands-on experience with OpenShift or other Kubernetes platform
Familiarity with version control systems. Experience and comfort with Git is a major advantage
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
