In this critical position, you will drive growth and provide overall supervision and strategic leadership of the region. Using your strong business acumen, you take full ownership of the following:

Role Responsibilities:

  • You’ll exercise your leadership skills leading a small team, allocating resources to achieve the overall goals while also effectively managing the P&L. 
  • You will deliver and maintain relationships (including at C-suite level) with key stakeholders, including regulators, partners, and customers.
  • Identify the priorities and ensure its successful execution across the region by defining and delivering the growth strategies, outline direction for our business, take full ownership for the retail and digital businesses, and build great relationships with the agents.
  • You will collaborate with global cross-functional teams to drive delivery of the initiatives and ultimately deliver consistent exceptional customer experience.
  • You will analyze market trends and customer insights to support business strategies and decisions. Drive revenue growth by developing and implementing omnichannel sales, marketing, and pricing strategies.
  • You will ensure the launch of new products and maintain and expand the agent and banking network as well as managing new and existing relationships.

Role Requirements:

  • To be successful in this role you will have extensive years of relevant working experience in related industries such as Remittance, Payments, Fintech, Consumer services or other financial services.  Knowledge of wallet and/or payments strategies, consumer payments would be highly regarded.
  • You exhibit high energy and show enthusiasm to get into actions to drive the business and get results, in collaboration with local and international stakeholders and partners.
  • You will need to be a strong leader with outstanding influencing and negotiation skills and experience with revenue management and working with regulators. 
  • You are familiar with pricing strategies, can influence decisions and good at negotiation and have a good understanding of the digital business. 
  • Previous international working or studying experience.
  • Fluency in English and Japanese language in both written and oral skills.
