The HR Generalist will serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team, providing expert guidance and hands-on support. This role will influence organizational success by aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a culture of engagement and high performance. The HR Generalist will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, driving talent strategies, supporting workforce planning, and championing best practices that enhance employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
Essential Functions:
Leadership Support
Collaborate with department leaders to understand workforce needs and provide HR solutions.
Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
Assist leadership in implementing HR strategies aligned with business goals.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage full-cycle recruitment and partner with leaders to attract top talent.
Coordinate onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Employee Relations
Act as a trusted resource for employees and leadership regarding HR policies and procedures.
Support conflict resolution and promote a positive work environment.
HR Administration
Maintain accurate employee records and prepare HR reports for leadership review.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
Performance & Development
Facilitate performance review processes and assist leaders with coaching and development plans.
Support succession planning and talent development initiatives.
Benefits
Act as the first point of contact for employee benefit-related questions.
Collaborate with the corporate HR team to resolve benefit inquiries and ensure accurate administration.
Communicate benefit updates and assist employees in navigating available resources.
Required Qualifications, Skills/Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence leadership.
Proficiency in MPower and Microsoft Office

Follow established policies and procedures and associated documents.
Participate in quality assurance and business improvement activities, including training and improvement projects as defined by the organization.
Working Conditions: Work is performed under a hybrid arrangement, with three days in the Milwaukee office and remaining days remote. Hours of work will generally be during regular business hours with at least 40 hours a week. At times there will be some variation in work hours due to special projects, deadlines and other concerns. This position will require occasional travel, on average up to 15% of the time.
