This hybrid opportunity can be based out of our downtown Toronto or Vancouver office location.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Alliance Manager to lead our private equity (PE) partnership initiatives. This role is pivotal in establishing and nurturing relationships with PE firms to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the financial services software landscape and a proven track record of building successful alliances within the PE ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, establish, and manage strategic partnerships with private equity firms to promote our software solutions across their portfolio companies.

  • Pipeline Generation: Collaborate with PE partners to identify new business opportunities, facilitating introductions and engagements that lead to a robust sales pipeline.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, PE firm strategies, and portfolio company needs to align our solutions effectively.

  • Collaborative Planning: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to create joint business plans that drive mutual success with PE partners.

  • Performance Tracking: Develop metrics and KPIs to monitor the success of alliances, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.

  • Event Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings to enhance our visibility and strengthen relationships within the PE community.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years in alliance management, business development, or related roles within the financial services software industry, with a focus on private equity partnerships.

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial services software solutions and the private equity landscape.

  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with senior executives and decision-makers.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends and data to identify partnership opportunities.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and persuasively.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.

The anticipated compensation for this role is an OTE ranging from $160,000-$180,000 CAD (salary range $135-140K plus target variable).
