AIA currently has an opportunity available for a Professional Services Manager to join the team for a 12-month period. Within this role you will be required to drive, design and develop an advice process which supports planners to deliver advice in an efficient and effective manner.

This is done through the development and delivery of processes, tools and other support materials which support the advice process and inform and guide planners on how to provide quality advice.

To do this successfully you will:

  • Drive quality advice outcomes by ensuring compliant, practical and effective advice guidance materials and other planner support materials.
  • Develop and maintain the required technical knowledge of risk issues and opportunities, compliance, policies, Group standards and other relevant information to ensure the advice guidance materials are in compliance.
  • Proactively identify trends in the understanding and application of advice guidance materials within the Advice Process and escalate both identified and reported trends to relevant parties to determine whether any amendments need to be made to the advice guidance materials.
  • Develop and maintain advice document templates which are effective for both the planner and Licensee, compliant with the regulatory requirements and easy to consume by the end customer.
  • Communicate, engage with and support Planners and their line managers, through use of regular articles, in 1:1 and group settings to ensure they are aware of changes and understand the practical implications of change.
  • Partner with other teams to ensure consistency and agreement within the advice process.
  • Liaise with relevant subject matter experts to understand and investigate the impact of regulatory changes on advice guidance materials for advice.

Successful applications will demonstrate:

  • Relevant Degree/Diploma in line with ASIC education guidelines preferred

  • Sound appreciation of Microsoft Office and Advice software will be highly regarded
