Assistant Property Manager – Senior Affordable Housing

Location: Sandusky, Ohio

Full Time - 40 hours a week

Are you passionate about creating a positive living experience for residents? We're looking for an Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of a senior affordable housing community. In this role, you'll assist residents, manage administrative tasks, and ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8 housing regulations.

What You’ll Do:

• Help keep the property running smoothly by handling resident inquiries, maintenance requests, and leasing activities.

• Assist with rent collection, lease enforcement, and financial record-keeping.

• Work closely with maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs.

• Ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations and prepare reports on occupancy and finances.

• Support the Property Manager with budgeting and planning.

What You Need:

• High school diploma (additional education in property management is a plus!).

• Experience in property management, preferably in affordable housing.

• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

• Knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8 housing regulations is preferred.

• Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office.
