Warehouse Supervisor


Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Warehouse Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, staging, and dispatch.
  • Ensure materials are handled, stored, and issued in compliance with SOPs and safety standards.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate processing.

2. Inventory Management

  • Ensure accurate inventory records in SAP / EWM system.
  • Lead cycle count activities, investigate variances, and drive corrective actions.
  • Manage stock movements, including adjustments, transfers, and discrepancy resolution.

3. Team Supervision & Development

  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse operators (attendance, task allocation, performance).
  • Plan manpower arrangements to ensure smooth operations and coverage.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.

4. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with Production, Order Desk, Procurement, and Quality teams for material availability and priorities.
  • Coordinate with forwarders and logistics providers for shipment execution.
  • Support audits and respond to internal/external queries.

5. Process & Continuous Improvement (CI)

  • Identify and implement improvements in warehouse processes (layout, storage, flow).
  • Drive initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and space utilization.
  • Ensure proper implementation of agreed CI actions and monitor results.

6. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure all warehouse activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Maintain proper documentation (GR, DN, stock adjustments, inspection records).
  • Enforce good housekeeping and 5S practices.
