We are helping transform the way that the People and Places Team delivers service to employees.The HRIS Analyst  is a member of the People team Technology Operations organization within Shared Services.  In this hands-on role, you will help support and grow Toast’s use of Workday as our main employee system of record. This role reports functionally to the Sr Manager of HR Systems & dotted line reporting to the In-Country(India) People Team Sr Manager of HR Shared Services. 

 

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Support Toast’s Workday and associated integrated systems day-to-day technical operations through troubleshooting, testing, and configuration and provide recommendations to improve operational excellence to people and people tech teams
  • Make configuration changes for business processes, notifications, condition rules, configurable security, compensation plans, etc. 
  • Create, maintain, and schedule custom reports in Workday for partner teams 
  • Populate, test, and process EIBs for job changes, compensation changes, compensation grades, workteams, performance review ratings, stock grants, etc. 
  • Responds to requests to assign new security or update security assignments for new hires or job changes
  • Provide customer support to future, current, and past employees through email, slack and servicenow tickets 
  • Support the greater HR Technology team with testing and peer review for break/fix and new configuration or projects
  • Support semi-annual Workday releases, including research and demo of new functionality
  • Provide system support for periodic calendar events (Performance Reviews, Merit & Bonus processes, Open Enrollment, headcount planning, etc.)
  • Provide enablement materials such as user guides, product videos to enable partner teams and Toasters 

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements) 

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Workday analyst or administrator responsible for configuration, testing, and support of Workday.
  • Knowledge of Workday HCM and at least one other specialized module (Absence Management, Payroll, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Performance Management, Time Entry)
  • Has worked in a highly matrixed, global organization 
  • Experienced working in a Sox based environment and have been responsible for programs and processes that are Sox compliant
  • End-to-end process understanding with an ability to develop and maintain processes, and HR service center procedures.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and outstanding organizational skills
  • Collaborative problem-solving approach; leverages relationships and strong business acumen to understand not only the “what” the “why” behind requests; displays empathy for partner teams and demonstrates growth  mindset
  • Ability to multitask under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment; flexible and able to respond to rapidly changing business needs
