The Credit Analyst is responsible for playing a key part in assessing and validating credit applications, in line with our credit policy and procedure.

Core responsibilities;

Assess credit applications within a timely manner to meet the agreed service levels for the business

• Assist the team by working on credit related requests and managing the workflow

• Ensure all assessments are in line within delegations, policies, standards, and risk appetite

• Turning around transactions within tight deadlines, whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail and quality

• Analysing and interpreting financial data

• Assisting with the structuring and packaging of loan applications

• Credit research and risk assessment.

• Understanding in relevant lending legislation, responsible and appropriate lending 

• Building and fostering effective relationships with key stakeholders

Qualifications;

• Tertiary qualification in Business or Finance desirable, but not essential

Experience;

• 1-2 years’ experience in a Credit Analyst role or similar

• Experience within the Auto Finance industry is highly regarded, but not essential
