RAC WA is seeking dedicated, customer-focused professionals to join our dynamic Roadside Patrol team. About the Role
Operating on a flexible rotating shift roster (6:00 am - 11:30 pm, Monday to Sunday), your key responsibilities will include:
Coordinating with additional resources (e.g., towing services) when required.
Maintaining detailed and accurate service records in line with RAC's proc
Responding to roadside assistance requests, providing immediate mechanical repairs and support to RAC members.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting a variety of vehicle breakdowns and mechanical issues efficiently and accurately.
Performing minor repairs, including battery replacements, tyre changes, and jump-starts, using your technical expertise.
Delivering exceptional customer service to ensure members' safety and satisfaction in challenging situations.
This role requires you to start your day from a designated location.
What We’re Looking For
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic, with expertise across various vehicle makes and models.
A relevant trade qualification in automotive mechanics or a related field.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and resourceful under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with members and colleagues.
A Motor Vehicle Repairer’s Licence for light vehicle repairs (mandatory).
A valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
A customer-centric mindset and a passion for helping people during stressful situations.
