• Job Title: Senior Planner

  Position Overview:

  This key position will take overall responsibilities of SSG Glass Business and new project CO₂ production planning and materials planning, lead to drive continuous improvements in Slides, Cover Glass OTIF, Inventory, Material Lean Supply etc. To ensure customers’ requirements are fulfilled timely, improve production efficiency through balance inventory and non-shut down production lines. This role will be a result-oriented professional to coordinate with related functions to achieve company target.

• Location: Onsite

  What you will do:

• Play a key role in routine communications between internal company (such as EDC/POR/Commercial, etc) on demand forecasting (SIOP), capacity, sales order and shipping plan etc. and provide strategic instructions to production, purchasing and related functions on capacity, resource, material planning for mid-long term.

• Responsible for glass key metrics monitoring of COGS, OTIF, Backlog, Back order, Inventory (amount & turns) etc. support financial reporting from supply chain perspective.

• Work out executable production plan base on customer expectation, capacity and material readiness, etc. and, closely follow up production execution and on time delivery to customer, monitoring OTIF rate.

• Manage material planning for mid-long term duration, especially raw material of glass pipeline management. Maintain good balance between inventory and service, cost and efficiency.

• Work with related functions to drive capacity & material constraints, meanwhile, to control the inventory of FG & RM & auxiliaries at a targeted level.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 6+ year experience in planning positions.

• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with cross functional teams.

• Quick learner, good data analytical ability and problem-solving skills.

• Familiar with lean concepts such as Kaizen/5S, JIT/KANBAN/VMI/Consignment are required.

• Very familiar with ERP or MRP systems.

• Fluent English both in written and oral.
