The Opportunity:

CACI Federal Inc is seeking a skilled, TS/SCI cleared Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in collaboration with the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS). This role is pivotal in integrating StateFarm’s systems within the Open Architecture (OA) AF DCGS framework, ensuring alignment with open architecture principles to enhance enterprise functionality, enable seamless interoperability with mission partners, support enterprise operations, and adapt rapidly to evolving mission requirements.

Responsibilities:

As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of StateFarm systems within the OA AF DCGS environment. Your expertise will ensure that the integration adheres to open architecture principles, promoting interoperability, scalability, and flexibility. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, network engineers, and mission partners, to deliver a robust and adaptable system solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement the integration of StateFarm systems within the OA AF DCGS to include DCGS Common Workstations (DCW) and SecureView.

• Ensure compliance with open architecture principles to enhance system interoperability and functionality.

• Develop and maintain interfaces that enable seamless communication between StateFarm systems and OA AF DCGS components.

• Collaborate with mission partners to ensure smooth interoperability and data exchange.

• Enhance enterprise capabilities by identifying and implementing improvements to system architecture and functionality.

• Support the development of documentation and standards to guide system usage and maintenance.

• Implement strategies for rapid adaptation to changing mission requirements.

• Conduct regular reviews and updates to system architecture to ensure it remains aligned with current and future needs.

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for integrated systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure continuous system availability and performance.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Current TS/SCI Security Clearance

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on integration and interoperability.

• Proven experience working with open architecture principles and enterprise systems.

• Strong understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and integration techniques.

• Experience with AF DCGS or similar military/government systems is highly desirable.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

• Certifications:

• DoD 8140 compliant Security + certification required

Desired:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, DOD 8500.01M, CISSP, ITIL v4) are a plus.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$93,500 - $196,500
