Position Summary:

Reports to the Head Swimming and Diving Coach and assists in all aspects of the program, including and not limited to, coaching, recruiting, camps and swim lessons.

Salary & Benefits:

$47,000-$50,000, commensurate with experience and opportunities to supplement income with camps, lessons and teaching

Primary Duties:

  • Assist Head Coach with all aspects of the program

  • Assist in practice planning and meet strategy

  • Serve as Recruiting Coordinator

  • Serve as Assistant Camp and Swim Lesson Director

  • Assist with travel planning/coordination

  • Coordinate apparel and equipment purchases

  • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Strong commitment to academic achievement

  • Strong knowledge of NCAA rules

  • Commitment, knowledge and experience with the recruiting process

  • Excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills

  • This position requires driving a company/university vehicle, a valid driver’s license is a requirement and a MVR need to be conducted upon hire

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Collegiate level play and/or coaching experience

  • Strength and conditioning background for dryland practices

Working Conditions:

Must be willing and able to work summers, nights and weekends.
