What you'll do...
We are looking for a Principal Product Manager – Customer Data Privacy & Data Governance to join the Customer Data Platform team to advance the way we empower internal teams with best-in-class customer data products and platform at scale. This role is designed for an individual contributor who is motivated by complex, purposeful challenges and has a keen interest in data privacy. If you have a background in product management with a focus on privacy, and you are looking for a challenging position in a fast-paced, innovative environment, this role could be a perfect fit for you.
You will play a critical role in our team, focusing on the development and execution of a privacy and data governance-focused product strategy. You will work closely with teams such as Marketing, Walmart Connect, Data Ventures, and Walmart+ to extend our Customer Data Platform.
This position is onsite 5 days per week at Walmart Home Office in Bentonville, Arkansas or can be seated in Sunnyvale, California.

You’ll make an impact by:
Leading the development and execution of a privacy and data governance-focused product strategy.
Defining and communicating privacy-centric product prioritization, and timelines for the customer privacy platform engineering team.
Ensuring tools are built and scaled to support the privacy needs of internal teams.
Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success.
Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in customer privacy, data protection, and compliance.
Collaborating with Engineering, Walmart Connect, Data Ventures, Walmart+, and Marketing teams to deliver privacy-focused data solutions.
Acting as a thought leader in the domain of data privacy, influencing both internal and external stakeholders.
Driving innovation within the customer data platform while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
Qualifications:
Privacy Certifications (ex. CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPT, CIPM, ISO) is a plus.
5+ years in Product Management with a focus on privacy.
Retail industry experience is a plus.
Quantitative or technical background preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
Proven experience in developing and executing successful product roadmaps and initiatives.
Solid understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market trends in the retail space.
Demonstrated ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem solve, scope technical requirements, and prioritize.

Sunnyvale, California US-11349:The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00
Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401:The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
