US Indirect Tax Specialist

Join Tate & Lyle GSS in Łódź as a US Indirect Tax Specialist. It's a great opportunity for someone who has experience in tax accounting, analytical skills, and is ready to take on new challenge.

You will be responsible for:

  • Review the use tax report for the application of US Indirect (Sales and Use) Tax.
  • Research in RIA the applicability of US Indirect (Sales and Use) Tax law to specific transactions.
  • Review the One Source data for the application of US Indirect (Sales and Use) Tax.
  • Utilize One Source data in conjunction with the returns preparation system to generate US Indirect (Sales and Use) returns.
  • Maintenance of US Indirect (Sales and Use) returns files as well as electronic copies of all backups and returns along with payment vouchers (Checks, EFTS).
  • Assist with projects/initiatives at the direction of the Tax Lead/Manager.
  • Support with 1099s form preparation and submission.
  • Ongoing verification and accounting of purchasing documents as control of tax material group on SAP for purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Preparing tax adjusting journal entries, reconcile GL accounts, accounts analysis to support reporting. Work closely with AP, GL, Treasury and Procurement. Support formal external/ internal audits, and refund claims.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years Indirect Tax accounting and Tax reporting experience.
  • Degree in Accounting or other financial discipline.
  • Project management fundamentals.
