About the role:
We are looking for an Oracle Database Data Owner for OASIS. In this role, you will be responsible for knowledge management and content governance across the OASIS CMS/RAG layer for the Oracle DBA Agent. This role ensures that the knowledge base powering the agent - runbooks, Oracle documentation, SOPs, known error articles are accurate, structured, and current. The Data Owner works directly with accounts to guide them in managing their own CMS content. The role also owns the global CMS knowledge base, uploading and maintaining documentation that serves as the shared knowledge foundation across all deployments.
Daily challenges:
Own and maintain the global Oracle DBA CMS/RAG knowledge base — Oracle documentation, runbooks, SOPs, known error articles, and best-practice guides
Upload, structure, and version-control content in Brightspot CMS to ensure accurate RAG retrieval by the Oracle DBA Agent
Work with accounts to guide them in building and maintaining their account-level CMS content, which takes precedence over global content in agent responses
Define and enforce content governance standards — naming conventions, metadata tagging, document structure, review cycles, and retirement policies
Audit content quality regularly; identify gaps, outdated material, and retrieval failures; drive remediation in collaboration with Oracle SMEs and account teams
Translate Oracle operational knowledge (runbooks, incident procedures, escalation paths) into structured CMS content optimized for RAG retrieval
Support new account onboarding by advising on CMS content strategy and helping accounts populate their local knowledge stores
Collaborate with the Product Owner and GTCO engineering to align CMS content structure with agent prompt templates and retrieval patterns
eXperience and skills required:
Knowledge Management - Extensive experience in designing, maintaining, and governing enterprise IT knowledge bases. Proven expertise in managing the full article lifecycle, developing content taxonomies, and implementing structured documentation standards.
CMS / RAG Platform Experience -Experience in working with a content management system (Brightspot, Confluence, SharePoint, or equivalent) as a content owner or administrator. Understanding how RAG retrieval uses document structure and metadata.
Technical Writing & Documentation - Extensive experience in producing clear, structured technical content — runbooks, SOPs, known error articles, procedural guides — targeted at both AI retrieval and human readers.
Oracle / IT Operations Literacy - Sufficient Oracle or infrastructure operations knowledge to assess content accuracy, identify gaps, and engage credibly with Oracle DBAs and account teams on content quality.
Content Governance - Defining and enforcing standards for content ownership, review cycles, tagging, versioning, and retirement. Experience with multi-account or multi-team content environments.
Stakeholder Enablement - Advising and coaching account teams on knowledge management practices. Able to run workshops, produce guidance materials, and drive adoption across distributed teams.
Analytical Thinking - Ability to identify RAG retrieval gaps, analyze agent response quality, and translate findings into structured content improvements.
