Role Overview:

As a Senior Platform Engineer you’ll help build and maintain the infrastructure and internal tooling that empower our  teams. Your focus is on delivering secure, scalable, developer‑friendly platform capabilities that speed up delivery while improving reliability and operational efficiency.

You’ll work alongside engineers and cross‑functional teams to evolve our core platform - touching deployment workflows, observability, data services, and networking. This role is hands‑on: you’ll write code, automate processes, and steadily deepen your systems knowledge, while contributing ideas that move the platform forward.

Our tech stack: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Ansible, Vault, Datadog and PagerDuty.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Implementing platform features that improve scalability, security, and reliability across our systems.

  • Developing reusable, selfservice components (e.g., Helm charts, Terraform modules) that abstract complexity and boost developer productivity.

  • Writing maintainable code and IaC to ensure changes are repeatable and auditable.

  • Collaborating with product, security, and operations to refine requirements and deliver solutions that meet evolving business needs.

  • Contributing to design and architecture reviews to ensure longterm maintainability and resiliency.

  • Participating in incident response and postincident reviews, and helping to turn findings into platform improvements.

  • Championing best practices in automation, observability, and securebydefault infrastructure.

  • Learning from and mentoring peers - sharing knowledge, pairing on tough problems, and fostering a collaborative, growthminded culture.

  • Provide 24/7 operational support through a structured on-call rotation, responding promptly to incidents and service disruptions.

Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required:

  • 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in platform engineering, SRE, infrastructure, or DevOps roles.

  • Practical familiarity with Kubernetes, AWS, containerization, Terraform, and at least one configuration‑management tool (e.g., Ansible).

  • A sound understanding of distributed‑system fundamentals and modern software‑engineering practices.

  • Experience implementing or extending CI/CD pipelines, monitoring/observability tooling, or other internal platform capabilities.

  • Solid troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, with a bias for action and iterative improvement.

  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities: comfortable working across teams and disciplines.

  • A growth mindset and passion for building developer‑friendly, scalable systems

Benefits:

  • Hybrid & remote working options

  • €1,000 per year for self-development

  • Company share scheme

  • 25 days of annual leave per year
