Summary: As an Android Application Development Application Lead, you will be responsible for leading the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve working with the team to develop and maintain Android applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the development and maintenance of Android applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Work with outside data sources and APIs. - Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in Android application development. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Kotlin, Java, and Android Studio. - Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services. - Experience with third-party libraries and APIs. - Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. - Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. - Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications. - Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Android application development. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful Android applications. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
