This position is responsible for the acquisition, expansion and retention of new Payment business, including Merchant, Treasury Management and Card products. Contacts existing and prospective clients to provide consultative advice on the business cash conversion cycle, working capital management and internal processes to develop Payment business. In collaboration with Business Banking Relationship Managers, manages relationships with existing clients to ensure proper servicing and structure of accounts and to expand existing business. Conducts receivables and payables business operating cycle analysis for identified client and prospective client relationships; provides consultative and insightful feedback; provides product/service recommendations to create process efficiencies and provide other business flow benefits to the client or prospect. Leverages available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and serve our clients with operational excellence and accuracy. May assist management in developing a market strategy and in setting sales objectives. Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned sales and revenue goals and retention objectives. May assist in the structuring of new or modified Payment services and oversees the proper implementation of those services. Builds relationships in the community and engages with local organizations, identifying business development opportunities as well as ways for U.S. Bank to make a difference in the communities we call home.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Five to seven years of related experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Thorough knowledge of Treasury Management and Payments
Well-developed sales and new business development skills
Strong client service and relationship skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently
Active listening and problem-solving skills
Ability to teach customers how to use digital technology
This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside of the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $107,865.00 - $126,900.00 - $139,590.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
