What this opportunity involves: 

 

Are you an experienced retail property professional ready to lead the management of a premier shopping centre? JLL is seeking a dynamic Centre Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic management of Woodgrove Shopping Centre.

 

Reporting to the Retail Portfolio Manager (VIC), you will be responsible for the overall management and daily operations of Woodgrove Shopping Centre. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who understands the fundamentals of retail asset management and consistently delivers exceptional client satisfaction.

 

The Centre Manager directly oversees business plan compilation and delivery, budget management, retail lease compliance, debt management, marketing strategy execution, and comprehensive stakeholder management.

 

 

An overview of the role:  

 

·       Lead and manage the centre team including Retail Manager, Administration Manager, Operations Manager, and Marketing Manager

·       Ensure compliance with all lease agreements, rental collections, and debt management

·       Develop and implement business plans, budgets, and forecasts

·       Maintain the highest standards of repair, cleanliness, safety, and security

·       Manage casual mall leasing and maximise third-party revenue streams

·       Build strong relationships with retailers, community groups, and local government

·       Provide regular client reporting and strategic recommendations

·       Oversee centre fitouts and tenancy delivery management

·       Experience managing a sub-regional retail asset

·       Proven team leadership abilities with strong coaching and development skills

·       Excellent customer relationship building capabilities

·       VIC Agents Rep or Real Estate Licence is required

·       Strong stakeholder management skills across diverse internal and external groups

·       Ability to identify and capitalise on income-generating opportunities

·       Strategic thinking with attention to detail and asset management fundamentals

·       Dynamic, proactive approach to problem-solving and client service
