Position Description:
Accelerates development and drives down costs through modern computing paradigms, Cloud computing, and open-source software, using observability SaaS providers (Datadog, Splunk, Cloud Providers and AWS/Azure). Understands IT services, IT Service Management in an Enterprise context, and Cloud delivery models including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS). Incorporates and streamlines test automation into software application builds using Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline tools.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and six (6) years of experience as a Director, Cloud Engineering (or closely related occupation) planning, designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining highly scalable and secure observability platforms within a highly complex and highly regulated environment.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and four (4) years of experience as a Director, Cloud Engineering (or closely related occupation) planning, designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining highly scalable and secure observability platforms within a highly complex and highly regulated environment.
