Northrop Grumman Chief Information & Data Office (CIDO) is searching for a Software Engineer to join the company’s Mobile Development team in support of the Enterprise’s mobile efforts.

This position can be performed as a virtual telecommuter.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work with a diverse team of software engineers to design, build, deploy, and sustain internal and public facing mobile applications

  • Follow mobile applications through the entire software development lifecycle

  • Participate in Agile-driven software development using Scrum

  • Investigate and participate in the intake process of new mobile applications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 Years with a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM); an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree

  • Knowledge of common mobile architectural patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER, or similar)

  • Experience with mobile application development (iOS, Android, Cross-Platform)

  • Ability to work in a dynamic team and corporate environment with a willingness to learn, adapt to changes, and tackle new challenges as they arise

  • Experience managing source code using Git, GitHub, or GitLab

  • Understanding of all phases of software development lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, or other cloud-native databases

  • Ability to consume RESTful APIs and handle JSON, authentication, and networking on mobile

  • Experience building mobile applications in the Swift programming language

  • Experience in an Agile environment

  • Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks (XCTest, XCUITest) and basic test automation practices

  • Demonstrated leadership & teamwork capabilities and strong interpersonal communication skills

 

Primary Level Salary Range: $83,400.00 - $125,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
